The Moment the Aircraft Stops Moving
For clients who fly privately into the New York area, arrival can be seamless. When it is coordinated correctly, your vehicle is positioned before you reach the FBO door.
Teterboro vs. Westchester
- Teterboro: preferred for Manhattan, the Hamptons, and New Jersey destinations. Jet Aviation, Signature, and Atlantic Aviation are the primary FBOs
- Westchester: preferred for Greenwich, Connecticut, northern Manhattan, and the Hudson Valley
How FBO Pickups Work
Unlike commercial aviation, private arrivals do not involve baggage claim or terminal waits. Your aircraft taxis to the FBO. You step off. If ground transportation is coordinated correctly, your vehicle and driver are already there.
PCNY positions vehicles at or adjacent to the ramp for all private aviation pickups. Your driver has your flight information, monitors your progress en route, and is in position before you arrive.
Multi-Leg Coordination
Many private aviation arrivals in New York are part of multi-stop itineraries. PCNY coordinates ground transportation across the full schedule — FBO to hotel, hotel to meetings, meetings to FBO for departure.
